The "Anand Vriddhashram" of Tara Sansthan, Udaipur is open to such aged people who are destitute, lonely and helpless – who either do not have any body in family to care for them or who have a family but are not treated well and are insulted and humiliated. They have been forced to live a life of agony at last stage of their life – These helpless and suffering people are provided with food, clothing, accommodation, medical care entertainment and a homely atmosphere-all absolutely free-of-cost in the Anand Vriddhashram Tara Sansthan is spending an average of Rs. 5000 per month per inmate in Anand Vriddhashram. Our humane aim is to ensure a smoth, happy and joyful living to each aged inmate so that he or she could spend the rest of life in peace and comfort. We appeal to those kind hearted Donors – who feel concerned about the miserable life of these aged people and feel sympathetic for them, that they kindly come forward with a donation of Rs. 5000 per person, per month to Tara Sansthan.

राजी बाई बंसल की आयु 75 वर्ष है। ये नीमच (म.प्र.) की रहने वाली हैं। इनके पति श्री जवेरीमल का निधन लगभग 18 वर्ष पूर्व हो गया। इनके
परिवार में 2 पुत्रियाँ हैं, जो विवाहित हैं एवम् अपने ससुराल में रहती हैं। इनके एक पुत्र भी था, जो किडनी खराब होने से लगभग 3 वर्ष पूर्व दिवंगत
हो गया। पुत्र के निधन के पश्चात् बहू व बच्चों को बहू के पीहर वाले परवरिश के लिए अपने घर ले कर चले गये। ऐसी स्थिति में राजीबाई एकदम
अकेली हो गई। कुछ समय तक अपनी विवाहिता पुत्री के साथ रह कर गुजर-बसर करती रही, पर बढ़ती उम्र और कमजोरी के कारण पुत्री के
लिए भी इनकी देखभाल कर पाना मुश्किल हो गया। ये अपनी पुत्री पर किसी भी तरह का बोझ बनना नहीं चाहती थी। इन्हें तारांशु के माध्यम से
आनन्द वृद्धाश्रम की जानकारी मिली। इन्होंने यहाँ सम्पर्क किया और करीब 1 माह पूर्व ये आनन्द वृद्धाश्रम में आश्रय के लिए उदयपुर आ गईं।

Shri Digendra Lahidi (77 Yrs) & Smt. Anjali Lahidi (67 Yrs.) are husband & wife and are basically the residents of Kolkata. They had 3 sons &a daughter. All were married long ago. Sons started living separately after marriage. As the age advanced the Couple was forced to stretch arms in front of others, but none of them gave them a bitter glance. After retirement from the job, the couple somehow sustained for 25 years on their own, but the age factor & loneliness pulled them back every time they tried to do something for their living. They even try to run a general store but were failed due to health problem. Destitute, they were forced to roam here and there for day to day needs. After sometime when their situation was revealed to their sister who was a resident of Delhi, told them about Anand Vridhashram. There sister come to us with the request and the couple was duly accepted and was given a heartiest welcome. Now the couple is living with Anand Vridhashram and is happy and contended.
