10,000 Operations

A RECORD 10,000 EYE OPERATIONS COMPLETED BY TARA NETRALAYA, UDAIPUR!

On April 4th, 2015 Tara Netralaya, Udaipur successfully conducted 10,000th eye cataract operation. On the occasion of this feat, President & founder of Tara Sansthan Smt. Kalpana Goyal cut a celebratory cake and congratulated Dr. Leena Dave, Dr. SubhodhSaraf and the whole staff of their hospital. She said that the poor and needy people from the rural areas-- who cannot afford private hospitals fees for cataract operations-- are treated here and this truly is an act of humanitarianism.

At the event, Shri Deepesh Mittal, C.E.O. of Tara Sansthan thanked the donors and affirmed Tara Sansthan’s continued commitment to such charitable endeavors.

1000th Camp

The Sansthancelebrated this occasion with the Hospital’s doctors and the staff.

It is noteworthy that ever since their inception Tara Netralayas under Tara Sansthan keep regularly organizing Eye Testing & Cataract Detection Camps all-over India-- especially for the poor and the needy people of the rural areas.

All the eye hospital under Tara Sansthan have collectively conducted over 1100 camps so far.

IVF Collaboration

International Vaish Federation is a worldwide social organization of the Vaish community people from all walks of life including Businessmen, Knowledge workers, Social workers and all other professionals reflecting the glory of ethical practice in life.

IVF is here to share, engage and communicate for socio, economic and political empowerment of each Vaish living anywhere in the world. IVF is committed to engage and share all the resources wherever needed in the world and carry forward their legacy to make a positive change in the lives of people every time, each time, anytime.

In association with IVF, Tara Sansthan has been organizing Eye Camps on regular basis since 21st January 2014.Over 10,000 people have attended the OPD and nearly 700 patients have got their vision restored through Cataract Eye operations by Tara notwithstanding the fact that thousands of other patients have been distributed free medicines and spectacles.

Ponty Chadha Collaboration

The Ponty Chadha Foundation is an organization set up to channelize its capabilities towards social welfare and economic development of the communities the Wave Group works within. The Ponty Chadha Foundation undertakes a plethora of socially responsible activities keeping in line with its belief to give back to society and care for people. As part of its initiatives, the Ponty Chadha Foundation sets up medical camps regularly to conduct free tests and check-ups.

The Foundation has joined hands with Tara Sansthan, Udaipur to organize Eye Checking & Cataract Operations Camps for poor people all over India. With inaugural camp on 21st June 2013, this association has resulted in total 81 camps, over 35000 OPDs and 1272 Operation selections, so far.
