Tara Sansthan, an NGO with a resolve of service to the suffering poor people, was founded in 2009 by Mrs. Kalpana Goyal d/o Dr. Kailash ‘Manav’ (Padma shree) the Founder of “Narayan Sewa Sansthan (Trust), Udaipur”.
The sansthan runs free old age homes called “Ananad Vridhashram” to take care of elderly people who are destitute, lonely and helpless. The vridhashrams provides with accommodation, food, clothing, medical care, entertainment and a homely atmosphere—all absolutely free-of-cost to the residents. Currently, there are 5 old age homes (Udaipur (Raj), Prayagraj (UP), Raipur (Chhattisgarh) are operated by us. Mumukshu Bhawan at Kasi Vishwanath Corridor, are being managed by Tara Sansthan on contract.
We operate charity eye hospitals (Tara Netralayas) in 5 cities namely Udaipur, Delhi, Mumbai, Faridabad and Loni (Ghaziabad). We organize eye camps in remote, far-flung rural in the cities to select patients for providing general eye treatment but mainly conducts eye cataract operations absolutely free for the poor and the needy.
Masti Ki Pathshala, started in 2016, aims to provide basic education to the working-class children living in slums. In which, along with studies, they are also given computer education, art and craft education, so that they can progress at par with children from other sections of the society. The main objective of this school has also been to give them information about making themselves physically and mentally strong through sports and other activities.
Tara Sansthan helps by way of providing Rs. 1000/- per month to the women whose husbands died early and left them support less. Another way of helping widows is by providing their children with FREE education at the “Shikhar Bhargav Public School” Udaipur.
Under Trupti Yojana, the organization distributes free monthly ration and Rs. 300/- cash every month to poorest of the poor who are in very old age and have no one to support them.
Tara Sansthan runs a school for the education of children of single women completely free of cost and at concessional rates for children of poor class.
